Various Artists - Wargasm

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Could so easily have been THEE Compilation of 1982. Don't get me wrong, there are some great tracks on this. But with some of the artists who contributed perhaps they could have given a little more, if you know what I mean. As it goes, it's the Anarcho bands that really deliver. Great tracks from Flux (diff to the version than on 'Strive' and better I think)Poison Girls give us possibly their finest moment, The System turn in a solid performance & Mau Maus were probably my favourite band at the time. Infa-Riot turn in a tidy enough bit of street punk as do The Upstarts. Cracking Danse Society track as well it so happens. A few minor changes and it could have been a real classic.

Tracklisting:
1 Danse Society - The Continent (4:38)
2 Flux Of Pink Indians - Tapioca Sunrise (4:00)
3 Canker Opera - White Coffins (3:10)
4 Dead Kennedys - Kinky Sex Makes The World Go Round (4:17)
5 Rat Scabies - I Hate War (5:44)
6 Poison Girls - Statement (5:04)
7 Captain Sensible - Hey Jo (3:10)
8 Mau Maus - The Kill (1:15)
9 Angelic Upstarts - Victory For Poland (2:12)
10 The System - Their Decisions (1:48)
11 Infa Riot - Power (3:25)
12 Quite Unnerving - Wargasm (5:52)

Henk,
No iv'e never seen a pressing with an Insane track. They were all a bit intertwined at the time though with Insane members in Flux, and System members standing in aand stuff.
Winston,
Your right! They do! quite like this cd. Cheers for tip off butt!

Hey! this is my vinyl rip I made a few years ago for the gF irc channel :-)

I think you are right about The Insane track. There is one that has no name on the vinyl cover.

Rollmops,
There's not one with no name on my copy. You got a scan of yours & we can compare & contrast. An Insane track as well would have made this an even better comp though it has to be said. I've just not seen one. What country you in Rolmops maybr it was re-pressed. All I know is 2 members of the insane were also playing in flux at the time, and should have played on the flux track on this album but didnt turn up for the recording and members of the system stould in.
Anyone know what Insane track is sposed to be on the other pressing.
J
