Cowboy Killers - Press & Run Like Hell

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The only other blog that ever had this posted previously, was the now sadly defunkt Sounds Fair. As it's sadly disappeared of the face of the earth, I thought i'd give everyone another shot at it.
Newport legends the Cowboy Killers with the L.P. 'Press & Run Like Hell'. Cowboy Killers singer Beddis is apparently working on new material with Rich former Novocaine guitarist which I can't wait to hear.
In the meantime get yer ears round this. Features a great cover of 'Jesus Entering From the Rear'. by the Feederz which featured on the Alternative Tentacles L.P. 'Let Them Eat Jellybeans'.

Nice one ;)

Good to hear that Beddis is still active. Although mothers with small children maynot be so keen on the news...

I recently came across Ward (from the band Resist) on Punktorrents, who remembered the time he spent with Beddis very fondly :D Resist are back on tour and putting some new stuff together too.

Did you pick up on the news that the Amebix may well be getting back together (albeit with a new drummer as their old one has tinnitus)? That definitely set my spine a-tinglin'.

Yeah I was gonna do an Amebix post soon about that. The old Nausea drummer is standing in i've heard. Not seen the book on them yet either. Updated your link by the way! Nice coloured vinyl you have there my boy. I'm still a child when it comes to coloured vinyl as well. I blame Charlie Harper.

Yep, Beddis is back on the streets and back in action, has a new band called The Ginger Arsonists, which (in his own words) is a cross between the beach boys and the dead kennedys
