Folk Devils : Fire and Chrome
Formed by Ian Lowery, Former member of Punk band The Wall, & later leader of Ski Patrol, they were initially signed to Killing Joke's Malicious Damage.
After Ski Patrol disintegrated, Lowrey formed Folk Devils with long time friend of Jaz Coleman - Alan Cole on drums, Kris Jojazitis - guitar & Welshman, Mark Whiteley - bass. Initially they were managed by Ray Gange, star of The Clash film Rude Boy. They split in the mid 80s, amid drink & drug problems.
Lowery passed away in 2001 having continued to work throughout the late 80s and early 90s with Nigel Pulsford of Bush with King Blank & The Ian Lowery Band. Great stuff Mr Lowrey did. Annie's Animal posted the Ski Patrol singles a while back Here which are well worth a download.

Great post, great band. No 'English Disease' though.
Shit, disregard that comment, in my excitment to download didn't notice English Disease was there.
