Inner Terrestrials - Live in Auxerre

Just to make things clear, before we start. This is a personal memoriam. No one from Inner Terrestrials has passed away, it's just my way of paying tribute to some one.

Posting this as a memoriam to a Mr. Nigel Rees. Not a close friend, but his passing is a sad loss to all those near to him. He tragically died in a house fire a few days ago, along with his Bull Terrier Lucy. Mad as a Fish (Head), always unpredictable but never, ever dull. A South Wales local but squatting veteran up in the big smoke for many a year.

In his last days, he was apparently hatching a plan to squat a local dis-used pub and then re-open it himself.
The last time I saw Nige, on an evening out, was at an Inner Terrestrials gig in TJ's. He was indeed in fine form that evening. Resplendent in leather trousers and an Adam Ant 'charge of the life brigade' style jacket. He was regaling all around with tales of the old school squatters.
At the end of the evening, Nige was on stage with the Inner Terrestrials playing the 'violin' with a can of Stella as the 'instrument' and a windscreen wiper as the 'bow'.
The world will be a duller place without him.

This is the audio only of the Inner Terrestrials DVD.

Sorry to hear about Nige. Sounds like a character.

Indeed he was Longy. We'd often get into coversations along the lines of 'has'nt Nige been thrown out yet?' like I said, a duller place.
Thanks for comments always.

A Stella can and a windscreen wiper... sounds like a man operating on our level!
A sad loss and a fitting tribute as I bet he stole the show.
Cheerz Nige
;)
