English Dogs - Sounds July 14th 1984

Little piece on Punks On Postcards favourites, The English Dogs from July 84. Lots of limp Mohicans here, possibly signaling the decent into metaldom I wonder. Or maybe it's just helmet hair. The rest of the 'Punk & Disorderly' column makes interesting reading as well. being a veritable who's who of all things considered Punk Rock at the time.

English Dogs - Psycho Killer
One of their finest moments from the first E.P. 'Mad Punks & English Dogs'.
English Dogs - Carol
Possibly the best bit of whistling committed to vinyl since Roger Whittaker first pursed his lips in a recording studio. From 'The Invasion Of The Porky Men' L.P.

Would loved to have seen them during that period! But sadly never got the chance. They were already on they're way to metaldom by the time I first saw them. Saying that, I do remember enjoying them! Some of the stuff during the early ninties to present has been great though. Sadly my memory is also a little thin now. Tinitus however is progressing nicely.
