The Cannibals vs. Surfadelics (Run Chicken Run Vol.1) LP (1987)

Split Lp with the great and sadly very underrated Cannibals (THE Kings Of Trash) and the lesser known Surfadelics. A release full of Garage/Punk and weird Psychedelic goodies! Produced by Mike Spenser (leader of the Cannibals' tribe) and Dave Goodman (yeah that Dave Goodman!)

Cannibals Side: I've Gone, I'm On My Own, Magical Carpet Ride, Twilight Zone, I Don't Wanna Change

Surfadelics Side: Don't Be Sorry, Abstract Eyes, The Trogg, I Didn't Know, Surfadelic Affair, Wild Thing

CANNIBALS vs. SURFADELICS LP

Don't know if you've checked the archives but I already posted some Cannibals (end of 2008 I think..) (+ some Sting-Rays, Vibes, Purple Things...) and I'll probably post some more...

Sorry for the late reply... and yes I'm interested!
To be honest I was rather disappointed by the album back then but I haven't heard it for ages and anyway Sting-Rays were a most exciting band... so yeah I'll gladly post it on Punks On Postcards!

Thanx Frantic/Paul !

hi jeronyme - i aggree it isnt the most exciting lp from this great band (compared to their earlier "billy"/trash stuff) but it is worth a listen and does have some good moments.

the record is as 2 files (I havent sepearted tracks I'm afraid cos Iam too lazy!)

Hi Frantic!

In fact I'm glad you did not take the time to separate the tracks etc... as I've just found out that I already had the album ready to be uploaded.. must have ripped it about 2 years ago at the time I ripped "Goodbye To All That"... it was destined for another blog... I should have searched with more care in the first place.
Well Frantic thanx for your offer and for your efforts anyway... much appreciated really!

Hi,

I can't download the file 'cause it's set to private. Any chance that might change soon? I had this LP as a teenager. My eyes nearly bugged out of my head when I found it posted.

Looking forward to maybe hearing it again.

Great posts. Thanks so much for Best Of Pebbles Vol. 2. Do you have Vol. 3?
