Goldblade - Not Even Jesus

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Not had any Goldblade for a while. So I think we're well over due. From 1997 on Ultimate records the 'Not Even Jesus' E.P. Three great pieces of Goldblade, and a manic bit of spoken word by John Robb lambasting The Beatles in particular & the world in general. All round top bloke John Robb. If you've never read his 'Punk Rock: An Oral History' (2006), I urge you to pick up a copy. One of the best written punk books out there.
Click cover for band site.

Indeed it is a good read, talking of books, have you come across this one john, Skins and Punks by Gavin Watson, mainly photos I think of the late 70's 80's er! punk scene, like it says on the tin. My local bookshop aint had a copy in so I haven't been able to look at a copy. Loving the 'rockabilly' slant from jeronyme it really covers the period well, and compliments the punk/skin stuff well. Respect to ya both!

Nuzz,
No i've not seen it yet. I knew Gavin when I was younger, Nodding terms you understand. I've got the first book 'Skins'. I used to live in Wycombe for a couple of years when I was younger and the Skinheads and Punks used to drink in the same pubs. Mainly the Anchor in town. We had mutual friends. He was a bit part actor and used to feature in Eastenders and stuff. His bro Symon made a great documentary called 'World Of Skinhead' which he features in quite a bit.
