Ryan,
Thanks for the comment mate. Yeah, yours was one of those records you pick up now and again cos they look interesting and you go , woahh! Love this! Thought this was a great release, and more people should here it. Like your new stuff as well. Just dropped by the my-space, and i've actually heard of you! 'Ennui' belting track.
It's so nice when bands are positive in comments. Excellent music, thank you. More love, coming Permanent Black's way in the future. If you ever fancy giving us a Nothing Substantial history lesson i'm all ears. Cheers mate.

Funny - I ran a google search for the band and found your site. This was a cool release. Three of the guys played in another CA band: Jim Jones Brigade. Hardcore Punk... I can't think of another band they sound like. If ryanf above did indeed play for NS, he could pass along a few JJB mp3s for your listening pleasure.

Peace,
Rob

He is the same Ryan that was the drummer for NS, then JJB, then Permanent Black. I'm his youngest brother (there are 3 of us) He's got a new band in the works so keep your eyes and ears posted, you can check his myspace (which is linked to the permanent black myspace) Glad to hear you all enjoyed the music. All of the members of NS, most of JJB and most of PB all still play in various bands as well.
